Creating Games for Windows Ecosystem!
Hardcore developers create Games! Windows 8 & Windows Phone present a huge opportunity for developers to make a name for themselves while creating casual games on either platform. If you strike gold, well …
What if you were interested in writing games; but never took the leap. Can the newer technology and the changed MSFT developer landscape make you take the plunge? Come hear first-hand from an expert. Doug Mair talks about options available for starting to create casual games, technologies in use & common challenges. Also included, would be tips to port your code/game between Windows Phone & Windows 8 platforms.
Doug Mair (@doug_mair/Email: firstname.lastname@example.org) has been developing software on Microsoft stack in the Columbus Ohio area for over 25 years. Applications built range from custom Rules Engines and Graphical Kiosk Systems to Assembly Line Integration and enterprise Websites. Doug spends most of his “after work” application development on Windows Phone & Windows 8 platforms. He loves developing apps and games that challenge his limits.
